Nothing beats flying a kite-except making one with your kids! After enjoying this easy arts and crafts activity, head to the field to test it out. We will  provide a step by step tutorial and supplies to make the perfect kite that all ages will enjoy.

Friday Afternoon Club

Start the weekend off right with Keystone Resort’s Friday Afternoon Club.  Head to the Summit House to enjoy an evening of live music, drink and food specials and activities including horseshoes, corn hole, ladder ball, bocce ball and more!  Free live music will feature a variety of bands throughout the summer.  All activities are free and can be checked out through the Overlook Grill.

Keystone’s Friday Afternoon Club is accessible via a scenic ride on the River Run Gondola. A foot passenger ticket or lift ticket is required to access the Gondola. Foot passenger tickets are available at the River Run Ticket Office and are FREE on Fridays from 1pm-close.  Call 800-354-4386 for more information.

But when the Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, and several other fairy tale favorites join forces for an epic game of Capture the Cape, only the cape itself knows who its true owner should be. Join us at the Quaking Aspen Amphitheater at Warren Station Center for the Arts for a family musical adventure full of humor and heart as Little Red Riding Hood and the whole gang discover that in the end, clothes really don’t make the man. Or the pig. Or the wolf….

This family festival will live up to its name! We will host a bundle of water games with the main intention to get you wet! Water balloons, hoses, slip and slide, your favorite water games, and prizes. Be sure to bring sunscreen and towels!  *Please take note to bring “splash-able” clothes you do not mind getting wet or dirty. We would also advise to bring a clean set of clothes to possibly change into.

Come shred Keystone Bike Park with other girls every Wednesday from June 17 - August 26. For $30 you can get a lift ticket, bike, helmet and protective gear rental from 3:30pm - 5 p.m. at Keystone Sports, and guided riding down the mountain with a coach from the VIDA MTB Series formerly Beti AllRide Clinic. This is the perfect opportunity to give lift-accessed riding a try and meet other women to ride with. To reserve a spot call Activities and Dining 970-496-4fun.

Join Keystone Science School in discovering the wonders of our Colorado waterways! Our Super Slimy Science Program will allow guests to familiarize  themselves with Summit County aquatics.  We will focus on the biological and chemical aspects of our very own Snake river. The program will consist of  hands-on activities, including searching for water bugs and performing fun chemical tests on the river. Don’t miss out on all the Science. Adventure.  Fun!
Dates: Saturdays, June 20 - September 19
Time:  9:00am -11:00am  Meet Super Slimy Science starts promptly at 9am Saturday morning at Kidtopia HQ.  Please arrive at least 5 minutes early for this activity and meet the activity leaders at Kidtopia HQ.

Farmers' Market

Come visit first annual Keystone Farmers Market in scenic Lakeside Village. Keystone’s fresh market will focus on Colorado grown fruits and vegetables available at the market on Sundays from 9am to 2pm along the lakeshore. Our Keystone Chefs will also shop at the market to include these products in our weekly offerings for a true farm-to-table experience. A chef of the week will demonstrate recipes that can be created from the in-season produce. Educational presentations will focus on high-altitude gardening, canning & cooking.

The Farmers Market at Keystone begins June 21st (Father’s Day) and runs through Sept. 6th (Labor Day weekend). This event will be part of the fun activities in Lakeside Village including fishing derbies, a model boat show & the Taste of Keystone.

July 7th - Paul Borrillo - A fun comedy show with magic, juggling and audience participation. Paul Borrillo AKA - "Poppy" has been a favorite entertainer at festivals and fairs across Colorado for the past 20 years.

July 21st - Bryan Connolly – Circus Knight - is a vivacious juggler/acrobat/fire-fiend who enjoys mixing handfuls of comedy with heaping scoops of pseudo-mortal predicaments. Fire-eating, machete juggling, bowling ball balancing and much more are contained within this dazzling delight of danger. 


July 28th - Wayne Francis – Ventriloquist - Take to the skies with comedy/ ventriloquist Wayne Francis and Wingnut the pilot. Let this hilarious duo barnstorm their way into your heart! With "life-sized" puppets, cartoon voices, original jokes/ music and even a banjo made out of a "frying pan", your imagination could not be in better hands. Laugh out loud as each new character comes to life, but be careful. You might even have a voice come out of your mouth!

August 4th - Ed Goldstein – Science Magic – Eddie Goldstein’s Magical Math and Science Show is the perfect way to turn kids on to science.  As an internationally known science educator and performer, he has delighted audiences at science museums throughout the world.It is a unique combination of scientific demonstrations, intriguing explanations, and sleight of hand magic. Not only will you learn some science, you will have fun, fun, fun.

Free Fly Fishing Clinics

Experienced fly fishing guides from Cutthroat Anglers will be on-site to teach guests how to cast, provide background on types of fish found in the Rocky Mountains, along with tips for how to read the water. These clinics are the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about fly fishing and how to get started.

The Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival will serve up more than 100 brews from 30-plus Colorado breweries Aug. 1-2.  This year’s all-star cast of pickin’ phenomenons includes Grammy-nominated group, Blue Highway alongside celebrated vocalist, Christina Union of Ragged Union and fiddle-extraordinaire, Annie Savage.  The performance is a must-see and will be an infectious collaboration of musicianship topped with fresh bursts of Bluegrass drive.  Combination seated and standing room.

Plus, all that beer drinking is for a good cause. Like all of the Keystone Neighbourhood Company events, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local nonprofit. For the Bluegrass and Beer Festival, the donations benefit The High County Conservation Center.

Keystone’s Bluegrass and Beer Festival continues to set the bar with its music.  And now, there is a workshop lineup to match!  Each session is an up-close and personal experience with performers; a rare opportunity to connect with musicians and learn a thing or two. Hear a prominent songwriter discuss how they find inspiration.  Or, sit in an instrumental workshop that ends in a group jam.  Attendees are welcome to bring their instrument and after each workshop, practice the techniques they learned.  View workshop details.

Bring your wood racket and vintage attire and join in on some good old fashioned fun in our inaugural Keystone Wood Racquet Open on August 15, 2015. Mixed double rounds will be divided up by ability levels and male and female participants.  Start time 9 am with a noon lunch break and a few more rounds after lunch ending at 3 pm with the high scorers playing off in the final round.  Players are required to play with a wooden racket for at least two games of each round. Mountain Town Music Festival

A celebration of all things Colorado.  Warm summer days, free live music from national acts and the harvest season for our colorful state. Come spend the weekend in Colorado’s high country and celebrate the waning of summer and squeeze in that one last mountain adventure before the aspens start to turn their golden hues.  Free live music from Mosey West, Miner, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, David Wax Museum, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and headliner Delta Rae!  The festival will also feature vendors from across Colorado highlighting hammocks, original art, pet goodies, jewelry, clothing and more!  As always there will be activities for the kiddos with face painters and plant your own flowerpot.  A signature fireworks show on Friday night will light up the skies over River Run Village and with Dercum Mountain in the background there’s not a prettier place to take in the evening’s spectacle.
