This par-71, Hurdzan-Fry course brings an element of drama to your game. The par-35 front nine is oriented around the path of the Snake River and the par-36 back nine winds through a lodgepole pine forest. Impressive elevation changes, variable bunkers, water hazards, and five sets of tees on each hole combine to challenge golfers of all abilities. The 16th hole features a 194-foot elevation drop from tee to green and the scenic 18th hole offers 12 bunkers and spectacular views of Lake Dillon. Add to that the magnificent views of snow-capped peaks and wildlife and it’s easy to see this is a golfing experience unlike any other.

Challenge yourself and take your game to a higher level on this classic mountain golf course. Winding through lodge pole pines, around sage meadows and across a nine-acre lake, this par-72 golf course features slight elevation changes and many bunkers. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Keystone Ranch Golf Course follows the legendary links-style of a Scottish course on the front nine, while the back nine presents a traditional mountain valley layout. Total yardage is 5,582 - 7,090.

Join the Keystone Science School in discovering the wonders of Colorado’s waterways! The Super Slimy Science Program will allow guests to familiarize themselves with Summit County aquatics, focusing on the biological and chemical aspects of the Snake River. The program consists of hands-on activities, including searching for water bugs and performing fun tests on the water from the river. Don’t miss out on the science, adventure and fun!

Strider Balance Bike Series Strider Races
Designed just for the little ones, the Strider Balance Bike Race Series is a fun way for kids to start practicing their bike and balance skills early. Kids can enter and race through River Run Village to vie for prizes awarded to top finishers. The race is free, and free strider bike rentals are available at Keystone Sports (limited availability). Helmets are required for all racers.Prizes for top finishers.

Bike, hike or gallop over to the Keystone Stables for Wild West Night. The fun begins at 5 p.m. with horseshoe games, lasso demos and s’mores around the campfire. Special Guest Appearances from Red Tail - The Colorado Mountain Man

Join the campfire and hear some stories from this local legend.  Red Tail will take your family back in time with his authentic and historically accurate presentation on Colorado mountaineers and their experiences with the Indians, the wildlife native to Colorado, and the hardships of their wilderness experience. Red Tail will speak about cultural heritage as well as touching on environmental and ecological issues past and present. His show-n-tell, question and answer format allows his audience to see, hear, feel, and smell what it was like to live in the Rockies in the early 1800s.

Family Hiking with View of Lake Dillon
Family Nature Hike with Crafts 
Take a free family nature hike lead by Keystone naturalists each Tuesday throughout the summer. Kids and parents can enjoy a short hike where they will learn about native trees, birds and animals that thrive in our high-alpine environment, as well as the mining history on the mountain. The walk is a great introduction to the Rockies, and begins in River Run Gondola Plaza.

Big Mountain Enduro

The Keystone Bike Park contains some of the most raw and rugged lift-accessed mountain biking in the US. With rock gardens, drops and high-speed features, there will not be a dull moment on your bike. Our freshly designed 2016 courses will challenge riders to the fullest and combine the top trails on the mountain, along with unique track designs never seen before at Keystone. Throughout the weekend, expect to see six rowdy stages with some pedal transitions, a non-stop festival taking place in the village and entertainment for the entire family to enjoy.

Mountain Town Music Festival

A celebration of all things Colorado.  Warm summer days, free live music from national acts and the harvest season for our colorful state. Come spend the weekend in Colorado’s high country and celebrate the waning of summer and squeeze in that one last mountain adventure before the aspens start to turn their golden hues.  Free live music throughout the festival.  The festival will also feature vendors from across Colorado highlighting hammocks, original art, pet goodies, jewelry, clothing and more!  As always there will be activities for the kiddos with face painters and plant your own flowerpot.  A signature fireworks show on Friday night will light up the skies over River Run Village and with Dercum Mountain in the background there’s not a prettier place to take in the evening’s spectacle.
